Clarence Modeste inducted into Cricket Hall of Fame - October 5, 2011 - Staten Island Advance
It is with great pride and joy that SICC announces the induction into the Cricket Hall of Fame of our President, Clarence Modeste, for his services to Staten Island Cricket Club and to cricket in the United States. This great honor is also a very timely one, since this year Clarence celebrates a half century at Staten Island CC, which he joined in 1961 and has served so well ever since. Raise your bat, Clarence.

On October 1st at the Hartford Marriott Downtown the Cricket Hall of Fame conducted the ceremony, which saw the induction of Clarence Modeste and various notables, including Courtney Walsh, Lawrence Rowe, and Deryck Murray. It was a great occasion the our Club well represented.
