The League is played at a competitive standard and often features current or former professionals, as well as players who represent the US national team. There are plenty of opportunities for ordinary players to excel, however, and several centuries have been recorded by Club batsmen in recent seasons. The matches are officiated by certified umpires provided by the Metro League.
